Used MRI Equipment
Used MRI equipment from Atlas is a refurbished whole body computed tomography scanning system designed specifically for radiotherapy simulation, providing 15Lp spatial resolution across the entire field of view. The used MRI equipment system features are required for accuracy of target definition necessary for 3D conformal and IMRT treatment planning. In addition, Philips ACQSIM CT used MRI equipment simulation system maximizes therapy simulation productivity, flexibility and patient comfort with an 85 cm patient aperture in the gantry. The Brilliance is designed for leading edge and research-oriented institutions that want to conduct the most advanced multislice CT studies. It has unprecedented performance in cardiac and coronary artery imaging, gated pulmonary studies, CTA and critical care with used MRI equipment.

Open MRI

Open MRI Machine
Our open MRI machine plant is located in a 25,000 square foot facility in Southern California with a second location in Clearwater, Florida. Atlas has designed a pristine world-class open MRI machine manufacturing plant that is ISO compliant and registered under FDA 2087175. Our exceptional team of highly trained technical and quality-minded engineers has helped us maintain consistently high refurbishing standards. Our open MRI machine process features 78 key steps in the remanufacturing of each and every piece. Before it leaves our site, your machine will be tested under full load and heat conditions to ensure that it meets or exceeds manufacturer's specifications. You can be confident that Atlas stands behind the meticulous workmanship and expertise that goes into every open MRI machine as well.
Mobile MRI
When using a mobile MRI, there are certain site requirements. A minimum site size of 11 ft wide x 26 ft deep x 9 ft high is recommended. The mobile MRI system is made up of only 3 components, console, gantry, and table. The PQ-5000 mobile MRI requires 480V 3-phase WYE power with an isolated ground to the source (100A main). A 75kVA power conditioner is highly recommended with high power/high frequency generators. Room temperature requirements are 68-75 degrees F at 30-60 percent non-condensing humidity. There are not any local workstations or other nearby equipment included with your mobile MRI system.

There are many common MRI rental service plans we offer. Our Full Service Contract offers with and without tube coverage, and 24/7 service. With our Shared Risk Contract you will receive up to half the cost, with the benefits of a full service MRI rental contract. Our Time & Materials Service Plan our customers generate all service demands. And our PMI Plan includes scheduled services for safety and routine service items for your MRI rental.
MRI Scanner
We have MRI scanner engineers available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across the country. Please call or email us and tell us how we can help you service your system. We have different service levels available for your MRI scanner. Our Full Service Contract offers with and without tube MRI scanner coverage, and 24/7 service. Refurbished CT Scanner
Our beautifully refurbished CT scanner units look new inside and out. They have an board generators and Agfa Drystar laser cameras as well as injectors. Each refurbished CT scanner is HCD and physicist inspected for quality performance. Our pre-owned and re-licensed refurbished CT scanner units from Sunblade offer a1 900MHz (or faster) Ultra SPARC III Cu Processor. They also have 8 MB External cache per processor, PGx64 24-bit Graphics Accelerator (1280 x 1024), 1 GB memory (4 x 256MB), 1 internal 73GB 10,000 RPM FC-AL disk drive and a 1 10/1000 BASE-T self-sensing ethernet port. Display monitors, installation and warranties are available for our refurbished CT scanner units.

The opportunity to provide high quality, pre-owned portable CT scanner equipment to this market segment, along with extraordinary customer service was the motivation to form Group 5 Tech, Inc. Each CT scanner rental for MCI is available in a lightspeed 4 and 8 slice unit. All inclusive CT scanner rental packages are available to include delivery and set up. Site planning, power requirement and location consultation is all included in service packages. All mobile CT scanner rental units are physicist safety and HCD inspected. Applications training is available through our team of professionals. All systems come with laser cameras and power injectors. Each also has a Full service maintenance plan by the Atlas team to include glassware coverage. Modular and transportable buildings are also available through Atlas. For either a down, in-house system, an upgrade to your existing system, a CT scanner rental can help.

With over 178 years of combined MRI machine experience, Atlas's executive staff started out when CT was still in its infancy. Prior to forming Atlas Medical Technologies, Rick Stockton, President, spent 12 years heading up Southern CATS Inc. until it was purchased by ADAC Laboratories in 1997. WE can assist your with site planning, power requirement and location consultation as well as applications training. All units are physicist safety and HCD inspected.
