GE CT scanner units and Lightspeed 4 and 8 slice mobiles available at Atlas. The company was founded on sound principles and a conservative business model. After five years the CT scanner company was growing and healthy but needed greater market penetration. Rick Stockton of Atlas Medical Technologies (Ontario, California) presented a strong market presence on the west coast, but had little access to the east coast. These men reasoned that combining the strengths of both companies would be beneficial to everyone looking for a CT scanner.
